RG began his filmmaking career as a production assistant on an indie film in Dallas, Texas, right after high school. After a brief stint in film school, he shifted towards design and digital media, leading him into advertising. Starting as an illustrator, he climbed to the position of creative director. For over a decade, he worked on diverse projects, including campaigns for major brands like Samsung, PNC Bank and Visa. Collaborating with commercial directors rekindled his early passion for filmmaking, and his background as an art director proved invaluable when he transitioned to being behind the camera.
